What we’re about
We are a long established walking club called the Marley Hillwalkers. We meet near Marley Park to facilitate car sharing and from there we go hiking in the Dublin and Wicklow mountains, and farther afield, to enjoy scenic views, nature and breathtaking landscapes.
We have a small number of vacancies for new members and are using Meetup to arrange taster walks for potential new members. You can try two taster walks before applying to join the club. Annual membership costs €70, most of which goes to pay for Mountaineering Ireland insurance.
Typical walks are 4 to 5 hours and 12 to 15 kilometres, so a good level of fitness is required.
