This is a group for like minded individuals who want to learn more when it comes to investing in multifamily real estate.
Whether you are interested in collecting cash-flow, building wealth, passive income, tax advantages, investment opportunities, or scaling your real estate business - this is a fantastic place to learn, share, grow, and network.
My name is Garrison Gilbert and i have bought, sold, fixed-up, renovated, project-managed, wholesaled, and rented out well over 2000 properties since 2001 and I have invested in every niche of real estate you can imagine over the past 17yrs. Everything from low priced section-8 rentals in the city to multimillion dollar estates in the suburbs. mountain houses to beach houses, residential & commercial. locally & nationally. That may sound impressive to some - but anyone who has a few contractors & projects to babysit can understand the frustration that comes with single family homes. I definitely have my fair share of battle-scars & war-stories.
A few years ago I started buying multifamily properties and I am kicking myself for not learning & understanding the benefits of investing in apartment buildings much sooner - and currently have 600+ units in my portfolio.
With multifamily real estate we have been able to build real wealth in a relatively short period of time by taking advantage of Forced-Appreciation and Cap-Rates. It has been a much more scalable business due to the systems we have been able to put in place, the tax advantages are incredible, and the quality of life (due to less headaches) has made real estate fun again.
My investment group ( www.InvestProPartners.com ) purchases both small and large multifamily properties here in the Baltimore area, mid-size properties in other parts of Maryland & PA, as well as larger properties in select markets across the US which we have identified as fitting our investment criteria. We love real estate, but we especially love multifamily real estate.
