Baltic Microsoft Developers Community in-person meetup - March

Join us for the Baltic Microsoft Developers Community meetup in Riga, Latvia, on March 30, 2023, at the Accenture Baltics VEF office. This event is organized jointly by Microsoft, Accenture Baltics, and TVG.

We have an exciting lineup of speakers who will introduce you to the latest updates from Microsoft for developers. You'll also have the opportunity to meet community members in-person and share experiences during the networking part with snacks and drinks.

The event will start at 5 PM on March 30, 2023, at Accenture Baltics, VEF office, Brīvības gatve 214, Riga, Latvia, LV-1039. Everyone who would like to get or share new knowledge, meet with experts and peers, and is interested in tech—from beginner developers to experienced professionals—are welcome to join.

During the meetup, we will cover two exciting topics:

1. Powering AI Capabilities with API Management and OpenAI API Integration
Artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized the way we interact with technology and has become an integral part of modern applications. The OpenAI API provides developers with powerful AI capabilities, allowing them to build advanced AI applications with ease.

However, as the usage of AI grows, so does the need for scalable, performant, and secure API integrations. This is where API Management comes in. API Management (APIM) provides advanced features for managing and scaling API integrations.

In this talk, we will explore the benefits of integrating API Gateway (the main component of APIM) with the OpenAI API and how you can use it to create a more scalable, performant, and secure AI integration. 2. Intelligent decision making with Power BI and Power Platform
Business is looking for more automated, knowledge-based and actionable BI. Therefore it is not enough to create reports and hope users find needed information. Intelligent decision-making is an approach where several techniques are combined to provide recommendations in plain language, prepared using explainable rules or algorithms and connected with automated workflows to connect APIs or other interfaces. In this session, we will look at how it is possible to build intelligent decision-making solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
