Hack Baltimore City School Transit

Details

It’s time to do better for Baltimore City Public School students. And it starts with getting them to school.

In partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools, Hack Baltimore is holding Smarter Schools Challenge: Transit (http://hackbaltimore.org/events/smarter-schools-challenge-transit/), a hackathon for community members to propose and create innovative solutions to improve travel for BCPS students.

Smarter Schools Challenge (http://hackbaltimore.org/events/smarter-schools-challenge-transit/) is is not a one-and-done event. It is part of a longer-term approach to addressing a systemic issue. January 10th is just the beginning.

Ideas pitched at the end of the January 10th hack event, will get more than a hearing. Hack Baltimore will help the best ideas become a reality for Baltimore school children. The most promising projects will be selected to receive seed funding from BCPS and other resources to help you transform your proposal into a working prototype.
