Come join us for our second symposium! We’ll be discussing the following topic: Should AI be deregulated? Our panelists will unpack the nuances of the question and its impacts on innovation, disinformation, the arms race, geopolitics, ethics and fairness in tech and more.
Our panel is comprised of 3 experts from various backgrounds;
- Aya Zirikly Assistant Professor of Computer Science at GW and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins
- Jim Keeney Founder & President of Dapt Tech, Inc. a B2B SaaS company
- Sean Kerr Founder of Novawerke AI, an edge intelligence platform company
We’ll have two 30 minute sessions of discussion and debate with time for questions at the end!
Full Schedule:
- Networking: 11-11:30 am
- Introductions & Openers: 11:30-11:45am
- First Round: 11:45-12:15pm
- Break: 12:15-12:30pm
- Second Round: 12:30-1pm (15 min for discussion/ 15 for questions)

The Pava Center for Entrepreneurship (formerly known as FastForwardU). For those new to the space you should see "Pava Marie Lapere Center For Entrepreneurship" on a blue wall, the entrance is to the right, directly next to Clipper City Fitness.
Take the elevator or stairs to the top floor to find us.
PARKING:
Pava Center website: If you are driving to visit us, we suggest parking in the R House overflow lot that is catty corner from R House across W. 29th St. It’s shared with the Baltimore Police Department, and free to park there.
