Introducing CARIBBEAN CINEMA — a BoriCine presentation.
On December 18, there will be a shorts program pulled from the División de Educación de la Comunidad — a Puerto Rican government entity that created audiovisual and literary materials for the “greater education” of the Puerto Rican-American citizen. The list of films are:

🎄 Parranda Campesina (1958, Amílcar Tirado)
🎄 La tuna de Comerio (1964, Luis A. Maisonet)
🎄 Festival Navideño (1966)
Come and learn about Puerto Rican cinema and Christmas traditions with these unique shorts! All shorts will have English subtitles, a rarity for DIVEDCO screenings.
Doors are at 6 pm, film program starts at 8. You must purchase items to eat or drink for admission into the film program. I even hear coquito may be on the menu. 🥥
