Jewish Dance: Origins and Influences

The BJCC will have a presentation on Jewish Dance: Origins and Influences. The discussion will begin with early mentions of Jewish dance, followed by influences from dances of other cultures on Jewish dance, and then changes over time in Israeli dance. Video clips will illustrate these influences and changes. Hildy Sanders, the membership coordinator for BJCC, will present the material and has extensive experience with Jewish folk dancing.
