Free Master Class: Cyrus Chestnut @ Peabody's Centre Street Theatre - Baltimore

Starts at 12 noon. First come first served seating.

This free event features leading jazz pianist Baltimore-born Cyrus Chestnut. He's won the Eubie Blake Fellowship, the Oscar Peterson, Quincy Jones, and Count Basie awards. He'll be coaching Peabody Jazz Department students, playing excerpts, and taking questions from the audience. The public is welcome and attendance is free, seats are limited. I've attended several of these master classes and they provide an excellent insight into how musicians think.
