Grab your folding chair/blanket and head out to the Hunt Valley area to celebrate the July 4th holiday to the music of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, including a fireworks display kicked off with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture!

Buy your $30 BSO e-ticket in advance online or in the BSO app since tickets sell out every year. This year there is no additional charge for parking, which is located off Beaver Dam Road.

Gates open at 5. Plan to get there around opening time for better parking and to help us try to claim a great spot on the grass for our group. The later you arrive, the harder it will be to find our group in the sea of people. We can eat and drink together before the music starts--local food trucks will be available for food and drinks (including alcoholic drinks), or better yet, bring your own picnic items (including BYOB). No glass containers allowed.

Other planning tips: consider your bug resistance strategy, what you will do to keep yourself cool if it is a very hot day, and bring a rain poncho just in case there's a shower (last year no umbrellas were allowed). Music starts at 8 pm, with a 20 minute intermission and ends in a spectacular 15 minute fireworks display.
