Several months ago at the Columbia DevOps Meetup the organizer captured our imagination when he described a proof of concept SonarQube project. We had been looking for an automated way to perform static code analysis to supplement our manual processes and SonarQube sounded like a good fit. It took a few weeks but we were able to capture two use cases and document the integration with SonarQube.
We will be presenting our use cases in 2 different meetups, both at the same venue!

Learn to overcome common challenges and pitfalls getting these two great tools working together and watch a live demo of build pipeline analysis. This presentation will also compare results from different tools (Fortify vs SonarQube) and show how manual review is necessary to find vulnerabliities automated tools regularly fail to uncover.
