Introducing Baltimore's Queer Art Club! Based in Hampden, Baltimore; this group is intended to give queer people a space to enjoy some company while making headway on personal art projects. We are FLINTA* forward, but all queer people are safe and welcome.
Meetings are Every 1st Monday of the Month!
Additional meets on the 3rd Monday or Thursday of the month will be added as time allows. I will also occasionally invite the group to queer-friendly art events as I am able!
What are Meetings Like?
Bring your own project! I am happy to share supplies like scissors and cups but please bring your own pens/paints/whatever you need.
We will be enacting a loose "Pomodoro Technique" structure to our meetups. The first ~30-60 minutes will be a social, followed by timed intervals of focus. Yes, I learned this in therapy and yes I'm sharing the love with you all now. Feel free to ask for advice, feedback, or assistance from the group - but know that the primary function is company and progress. I won't be enforcing critiques as a regular part of the structure.
So bring a project you're working on and make meaningful progress with queer, FLINTA* friendly peers! Snacks are welcome if you feel inspired - but not required!
