DC& Baltimore Travel Community: Lunar New Year Parade & Lunch 🧧 🐍 🪭

Join the DC & Baltimore Travel Communities cohosting an event to attend the Lunar New Year parade in DC for our third year in a row. Despite the rain in previous years we have always enjoyed the tasty food, time together watching the parade and chatting travel.

The main activity is lunch before the parade and parade together with tentative itinerary below. The lunch location is TBD based on final group size a few days before the event but we will post in the event comments.

• 12:30-2:00 lunch at TBD location
• 2:00-3:00 Lunar New Year parade

For those who live in Baltimore, you are welcome to join Lexie on the MARC train with the below tentative itinerary. The MARC train is $9 each way and you can purchase tickets through the CharmCity App or at the station. You can also drive but note you will need to find street or garage parking.

• 10:45 meet at Penn Station to gather as a group (near gate E)
• 10:50 board the train once gate announced so we can sit together
• 11:00 MARC train leaves Penn Station
• 12:02-12:30 walk from Union Station to lunch
• 12:30-2:00 lunch at TBD location
• 2:00-3:00 Lunar New Year parade
• 3:00-4:15 walk back to Union Station (30 minutes)/ time to use bathrooms/get a coffee/ etc
• 4:15 meet in station near track
• 4:20 Board the train once gate announced so we can sit together
• 4:30 MARC train leaves Union Station
• 5:29 arrive back Penn Station
