Thrive & Lead: A Design Leader's Roundtable to Growth Through Coaching

Join us for an intimate workshop (limited to 10 participants) aimed at empowering design leaders through coaching conversations. Whether you're a manager, director, C-suite executive, or leader with at least 5 years of experience, this event will equip you with the tools and strategies to find, receive, and leverage coaching opportunities for continuous growth.

Led by Karen Pang, Sr. Design Manager at Exelon, and Christina Melito, Creative Director at Fifteen4, the workshop will explore how internal and external factors influence your leadership journey to help you define your growth goals and develop a personalized coaching roadmap.

This event is the first of a series. Future roundtable discussions will be geared to a wide array of audiences, including early-career UX folks.

Agenda:

1. 45 mins (5:45-6:30 pm) - check-in and network
   NOTE: If you arrive after 6:00 pm, you'll need to call a number (posted on the door).
2. 60 mins (6:30-7:30 pm) - roundtable discussions and activities per group select topics
   1. Addressing poor performances
   2. Managing emotional/defensive responses
   3. Encouraging Growth
   4. Motivating the team (at challenging times)
   5. Addressing burnout
   6. Building a strategic mindset
   7. Mediating conflicts
3. 30 mins (7:30-8:00 pm) - self-reflection and activation activity
4. 30 mins (8:00-8:30 pm) - close out and clean up
