METAVERSE meets ARCHITECTS

Imagine the Metaverse has arrived and the architects were not there? Because of our profession we architects have been involved in 3d virtual worlds long before the term Metaverse became a buzzword. However the "earthly" virtual models we designed for our job were limited to laws of physics and monetary restrictions. What if there were no such restrictions, how would you design a building? There are voices who say that the Metaverse does not need architects because anyone can be an architect in the Metaverse. Looking at the boring, Harry Potter style "buildings" in the current Metaverse platforms out there...I must say the Metaverse badly needs architects. What do you think?
