This beautiful Cotswold countryside boasts a wide variety of habitats and plants. The limestone grassland is extremely rich in plants, which in turn support a large variety of insects, especially butterflies. The Cotswolds is set in the heart of England, famous for its honey-coloured stone architecture and idyllic village scenes.
Regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in England, Bourton-on-the-Water has a unique appeal to visitors and residents alike, there is plenty to see and do with a wealth of attractions and shops, restaurants and tea rooms, or simply for you to enjoy some tranquil time by the River Windrush with its beautiful bridges throughout.

📝 Itinerary:

📍 07:45 meet at Hotel Novotel London West, 1 Shortlands, W6 8DR (five minutes walk from Hammersmith Station)
📍 10:30 – 16:00 Bourton-on-the-Water, lunch & free time in Model Village (from £3.50) /Birdland (from £8.95) / Motoring Museum (from £5.75) / Greystone’s Farm. (Optional – 10 miles horseshoe walk through three beautiful Cotswold villages, including Naunton, Upper and Lower Slaughter)
📍 16:00 Departure from Bourton-on-the-Water
📍 18:30 London, Hammersmith
