First walk of 2026 ๐ŸŽ‰

Join the Banbury Young Walkers for a lovely jaunt around Blenheim's Great Park. We will see Blenheim Palace- birthplace of Winston Churchill, a tree with a claim to Harry Potter fame, and panoramic views of the lake and grounds. This walk is mostly flat and on tarmaced paths but there are some footpaths which will be muddy if it has been wet so please wear good trainers or walking boots. You do not need to pay to access the grounds for this walk as we are using public rights of way- however if you want to stay and make a day of visiting the palace and formal gardens you will need to pay entry. The walk is a 9k circular and should take about 2 hours. Refreshments available afterwards at Blenheim Palace cafe or in the town of Woodstock. We will be meeting at 10.30 at the Union Street Carpark off Hensington Road. Parking is free but can get busy so car sharing advisable if possible.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
