Peeyush Pankaj

Peeyush Pankaj is a senior application engineer at MathWorks, where he
has been promoting MATLAB products for data science. He works closely
with customers in the areas of predictive maintenance, digital twin,
enterprise integration and big data. Peeyush has over 11 years of
industry experience with a strong background in Aviation. Prior to joining
MathWorks, he has extensively worked on aircraft engine designs,
testing and certification.
He has filed 25 patents on Advanced Jet Engine technologies and
Prognostic Health Monitoring of aircraft engines. Peeyush holds a
master’s degree in advanced mechanical engineering from the University
of Sussex, UK.

Talk 2 : Exploring the Power of Generative AI with Stable Diffusion
Talk 2 Details:
Generative AI models, such as GANs and VAEs, have the potential to create realistic and diverse synthetic data for various applications, from image and speech synthesis to drug discovery and language modeling. However, training these models can be challenging due to the instability and mode collapse issues that often arise. In this workshop, we will explore how stable diffusion, a recent training method that combines diffusion models and Langevin dynamics, can address these challenges and improve the performance and stability of generative models. We will use a pre-configured development environment for machine learning, to run hands-on experiments and train stable diffusion models on different datasets. By the end of the session, attendees will have a better understanding of generative AI and stable diffusion, and how to build and deploy stable generative models for real-world use cases.

Passionate and multi-faceted AI Scientist / Solution Architect proficient in Deep Learning, ML and AI with more than 12 years of experience. Currently working as Staff Data Scientist at Baker Hughes. Expertise in computer Vision, Image and Video analytics, generative AI. Highly skilled in designing and implementing cloud architecture for AI product solutions.

Talk 3 : Exploring Generative AI with GAN Models
Talk 3 Details:
Through a comprehensive exploration, this talk would intend to uncover the inner workings of GANs and demystify their training process. This talk shall help you gain insights into the different types of GANs, such as conditional GANs and style-based GANs, and how they contribute to the advancement of generative AI. To truly appreciate the significance of GANs, this talk will also discuss their wide-ranging industrial applications, spanning image synthesis, video generation, data augmentation, and virtual reality.
