In this session, I will be covering the challenges of setting up Kafka (librdkafka python) consumers at high scale, eg. implementing batching, manual offset handling, slow processing messaging, etc.

This talk is about why it's important to think about dealing with error scenarios involving Kafka early in the project life cycle and which are the most important configurations to know to control the behavior in case of usual scenario and specially in error scenario.
