Creative Writing – Let's get together & write! (RSVP mandatory)

If you enjoy creative writing, please join us! We are a group of writers who enjoy writing. We meet every two weeks, and have a set of writing prompts to choose from.

Please note that RSVPing for the event and confirming a place is mandatory. Showing up for the event without RSVP is not allowed.

After introductions and some coffee/tea, we choose the prompts and write for approx. 30 minutes. Post which, we read our work. It isn't mandatory to read but we'd love to hear your creative outputs. We appreciate the writing but we don't critique the writing as such; this is a safe space to write and share inspirations!

Key points & logistics:
1. Who can join: All levels of experience are welcome.
2. Language: Though most of us write in English, feel free to pick any language.
3. Prompts: Usually, the organizers bring the prompts. If you have ideas for prompts, let us know and you can bring the prompts the next time.
4. Meet-up fees: The Meet-up platform charges us (the organizers) for hosting a group, so we expect a contribution of at least INR 100 from the attendees, to contribute to this. Thank you!
5. Group rules: Please read the group rules below.
6. What to bring: Bring a pen and paper/a laptop. And most important, please bring along curiosity and openness. Our main goal is to enjoy the writing process.

★ GROUP RULES - PLEASE READ ★
1. RSVPs - Please RSVP responsibly since there are a limited number of places. Only show up if you are on the attendees' list. In case of technical issues when signing up, please send us a message to check for a free spot.
2. Waiting list - If on the waiting list, please don't jump the queue. You will be automatically moved up on the list if others cancel. If you know you cannot make it, please change your status to "Will not attend" to avoid blocking the spot.
3. Cancellations - In case you cannot make it, you can cancel latest by Thursday before the event. After that, please consider the date set. Cancelling past the deadline twice, especially when there is a waitlist or doing so last minute without a communicated reason, is not a nice thing to do and may result in your removal from the group.
4. No-shows: If you RSVP "YES", but don't show up, you will get a polite warning. Repeated no-shows may result in your removal from the group.

The main rule: Have fun and don't apologize for your writing. :)
