This one-hour online session will create an awareness and mindfulness about the science behind yoga & meditation. These practices have tremendous potential to transform our lifestyle in the modern context. Ancient yogic practices can be adapted to fit our contemporary lifestyle and address our core issues by making us dive deep within.
This session will (hopefully!) change your perspective about health & wellness. We will explain:
- the concept of salutogenesis as against the general worldview of pathogenesis;
- how yoga and meditation augment neuroplasticity;
- how these practices help you maintain homeostasis in a natural way
Ashish will take you through these concepts in a simple, easy to understand, and practical way. During the session, he will teach you yoga, meditation and deep relaxation techniques to help you be more calm, peaceful, and happy. You will be able to practice these techniques on your own after the session is done.
About the facilitator:
Auro Ashish has a Master of Transformational Yoga (Yoga Alliance International 500 hrs certification) from SriMa International School of Transformational Integral Hatha Yoga. He specializes in yoga & meditation techniques for stress & anxiety reduction, which are medically considered to be the root cause of most lifestyle disorders. He conducts yoga and meditation workshops in India and across the globe.
