12:45 - 13:15: [Talk] Observability in ML: What Can Go Wrong?
Sharing lessons from two production incidents encountered while adding observability to ML models.
The first incident involves enabling model performance alerts that triggered thousands of alerts at once, overwhelming the Slack alert pipeline.
The second incident focuses on how setting a random seed for reproducibility led to identical TraceIDs across services, breaking distributed tracing and impacting debugging.
The talk will include a live demo to recreate both incidents 👨‍💻🔥

Speaker: Sayam Kumar
Sayam Kumar is an AI Research Engineer at Phaidra, where he focuses on the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models — from training to monitoring. Based in Bangalore, he has been with Phaidra for over four years and is keen to share lessons from adding observability to ML models.

13:15 - 13:45: [Talk] Grafana + Hasura DDN: A New Approach to Multi-Tenant Observability
Details: At Hasura, we needed a way to provide observability to thousands of users, ensuring they could only see metrics for their own projects. Our solution? A Prometheus connector for Hasura Data Delivery Network (DDN) that leverages GraphQL-based permissions to enforce secure, multi-tenant access. In this talk, we’ll break down the new observability architecture and show how Grafana, Hasura Hasura Data Delivery Network (DDN), and Prometheus work together to deliver a powerful, scalable monitoring experience.

Speaker: Rohan Kumar
Rohan is Site Reliability Engineer at Hasura, they handle reliability and scaling of Hasura's managed offerings (Hasura Cloud). Outside work Rohan enjoys reading, cycling, music and video games.
