India is opening up. Manufacturing activity is expected to grow exponentially in SMB sectors. It’s time to gear up for new challenges in ERP implementations in a competitive environment.
The SMB sectors would be keen on moving to an efficient ERP system instead of managing only accounting. Majority of the small scale industries would be looking forward to promote themselves as medium scale industry, thereby, looking for a quick, efficient and economical solution. This would need a new approach in thinking the way the ERPs are implemented. From Marketing to inventory tracking to delivery, the stake holder would be looking for an online solution that enables him to free him from routine activities and enable him to focus on his core activity.
The changes are seen globally in the processes all the industries including manufacturing. While industries would like to grow and CEOs looking for information on their fingertips, they do not wish to burden the organization with high licensing fees.
