What we’re about
This group is for everyone interested in learning and building with Redis — the world’s fastest data platform for caching, real-time systems, AI, search, streams, and more 🌐. Join our Redis Meetup community to explore fundamentals, modern use cases, hands-on workshops, and real-world architecture patterns.
We host in-person meetups and virtual events focused on Redis features, developer learning, AI + RAG systems, vector search, caching strategies, and fun activities that help you connect with fellow developers and grow together locally and globally.

Agentic AI Connect – Bengaluru
Microsoft Corporation(India) Pvt.LTD, 6, 18, Bellandur Gate Rd, Bellandur, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560103, Bangalore, IN### Architecting Agentic AI Systems with Redis
Date: January 10th, 2026
Time: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM IST
Hosted in partnership with Tech Nexus Community
We’re excited to welcome Bengaluru’s developer and AI builder community to Agentic AI Connect – Bengaluru, a deep-tech event designed to explore how Redis powers next-generation intelligent AI systems. This meetup is hosted in partnership with Tech Nexus Community and brings together engineers, architects, and AI enthusiasts for a day of learning, discovery, and hands-on conversations.
Agenda:
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM: Registrations and welcome
10:00 AM - 10:45 AM: Event welcome, contextual overview, and keynote-style technical talk
10:45 AM - 11:30 AM: Architecting agentic AI systems with Redis
Session brief:
In 1970, Edgar Codd introduced the relational database model, transforming how we store and query data. Before that, programmers had to know exactly where data was stored and how to navigate complex file structures. Codd's innovation was making data access declarative - you describe what you want, not how to get it.
Today, RAG systems and Agentic AI have made great strides in natural language querying. But there's still room to make data access even more intuitive and conversational, and responses even more fast and contextual.
This session will cover building intelligent AI agents that can understand natural language queries with intent and context. We'll explore vector search and semantic caching with Redis, and show how these agents can deliver results at sub milli-second speeds.
Speakers:
- Ashwin Hariharan, Developer Advocate, Redis
- Bhavana Giri, Developer Advocate, Redis
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM - Practical patterns for high-performance caching and AI systems
Session brief:
The session will focus on the practical use of Redis as a high-performance caching and orchestration layer in AI and distributed systems. It will cover real-world architectural patterns where Redis significantly reduces latency and system load by eliminating repeated expensive operations—such as repeated database access, repeated RAG executions, and repeated text-to-SQL agent invocations for identical user queries.
Key themes to be covered:
1. Redis as a shared memory layer for AI systems (caching queries, responses, embeddings, and agent outputs)
2. How effective caching can transform minute-level response times into near real-time experiences
3. Redis in microservices architectures, acting as a low-latency layer in front of relational databases
4. Core design considerations: cache key design, TTL strategies, invalidation, consistency, and cost–performance tradeoffs
5. Lessons learned from operating Redis in production-scale systems
Speakers:
Manjunath Janardhan, AI/ML Computational Science Senior Manager, Accenture
