When the daily grind starts to get to you, it is time for a well-deserved break. You need to take just a day or two to get in touch with yourself and hit that reset button.
But when you are in a bustling city like Bangalore, where do you escape to?
Simple – you come to Plan The Unplanned and book a Kodachadri trek from Bangalore.
This weekend, the choice is yours. You could sleep in and check out PTU’s ‘gram updates - or be in it. Seriously, you could be walking through dense green forests, gushing waterfalls and landscapes that will wash away the chaos lingering in your mind.
Located within the Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary, this is one of those treks which is truly magical – the perfect blend of mythology, legends and drop-dead gorgeous sights!
Although there are 3 different trek routes, the one we will take you through might prove to be slightly tough for first-timers. But fret not - if you are ready for a challenge, then this could be the adventure of your lifetime!
Trek highlights:

  • Spot every shade of green as you trek through the region’s greenest forests
  • Climb up the magnificent Hidlumane Waterfalls
  • Visit Mookambika temple (where Goddess Mookambika destroyed the demon Mookasura)
  • A pit stop at the Sarvajna Peetha, where Adi Sankaracharya once meditated
  • Walk through Nagara fort and stop a while at Devagange Temple as well
  • Explore the stunning beaches of Udipi before heading back to Bangalore
  • If you’re lucky, we could witness the most spectacular sunset over the Arabian Sea from the peak

When you embark on this trek with the Plan The Unplanned tribe, you get a chance to let your hair down and let it all go – take this trek to reset and reconnect with yourself and nature!
