About the presenter:
Michel Cloutier is a Mechanical Designer by trade. Before joining the SOLIDWORKS team, he worked in various industries such as pressure vessel design and quality assurance, food preparation and handling systems, and airport ground support equipment engineering. Michel also worked for 5 years for a SOLIDWORKS Value Added Reseller, as an Application Engineer responsible for pre-sales, training, and technical support activities. Michel has now been with the SOLIDWORKS team for the last 15 years and is currently an Industry Process Consultant Senior, covering North America. In this role, Michel is responsible for understanding the complex industry 4.0 transformation customers are going through, and how products can help them get more productive.

About the presentation:
The Weldment’s structure system feature, first introduced in SOLIDWORKS 2019, is an advanced weldments environment that lets you create and modify structural members of different profiles in one feature. The workflow makes it easier to create complex structure systems with flexible corner management and trimming. During this session, we will explore this new revolutionary method of designing large weldments in a fraction of the time using the Structure System, and how it can be combined with traditional weldment functionality.
