Predictive Analytics Challenge(Datathon) Focused on Social Impact

WiMLDS is partnering with Women in Data Science, a Stanford University initiative to host the global annual WiDS Datathon workshop.
The WiDS Datathon 2020 focuses on patient health through data from MIT's GOSSIS (Global Open Source Severity of Illness Score) initiative.

WiMLDS Bengaluru is hosting a Datathon workshop to help data science enthusiasts successfully participate in WiDS datathon challenge to create a social impact.

This workshop features amazing speakers and mentors who are subject matter experts in datascience domain. The workshop aims to help data science enthusiast upskill themselves technically, explore Kaggle platform, form teams and successfully attempt a global datathon challenge. Mentors who are data science subject matter experts will be assigned to interested participating teams to guide them through the datathon challenge.

These amazing speakers will give a demo and walkthrough of Kaggle platform and share best practices in attempting such datathon challenges.

Chirasmita Mallick:

Chirasmita Mallick is a Data Scientist at G2 & Mentor at Spring board. She has master’s in data science from Colombia University, US. Her research interests are focused on NLP and Deep Learning applications. She enjoys enriching discussions in the AI/ML space and believes we are at an exciting phase to build great products that can add insane value on a global scale.

Usha Rengaraju:

Usha is a polymath and unicorn data scientist with strong foundations in Economics, Finance, Business Foundations, Business Analytics and Psychology. She specializes in Probabilistic Graphical Models, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. She has completed Financial Engineering and Risk Management program from Columbia University with top honors, micromasters in Marketing Analytics from UC Berkeley and statistical analysis in Life Sciences specialization from Harvard. She is a renowned speaker in the datascience domain

Gayatri Pal:

Gayatri has More than 18 years of experience into Data Science and Currently leading the Data Science Foundation within WalmartLabs. She has Masters in Statistics & management degree from IIMC. Her expertise is in driving Machine Learning solutions into different domains like: Automotive, Retail, Customer Analytics, Marketing Analytics and IoT etc
