What we’re about
This is an attempt to start a group of like minded people who like soulful, vocal more uplifting styles of house music and to start doing a monthly party which will consist of old and new stuff, some soul and funk earlier on perhaps too. Let me be explicit:
Armand Van Helden, Masters At Work, Todd Terry, Sean McCabe, De La Soul, Erykah Badu, Stacy Kidd, Lenny Fontana, DJ Spen, Kerri Chandler, Miguel Migs etc
This isn't all about the old school, but I'm guessing naming tons of newer artists might not resonate very much in the post vinyl era.
We'll most likely oscillate between Technics 1210s and Pioneer CDJs too. So there will be some vinyl making an appearance which is always nice.
First party and venue will be confirmed based on size of community, but will be downtown Bangkok.
