We will have events on the weekends from time to time, however, we mainly focus on midweek meetups and events.

Enjoy a beautiful morning walk at Queen Sirikit Park and Botanical Garden in Bangkok! We will be taking a casual walk through the park and making the most of the relatively cool morning air. Along the way, we will be looking for some of the beautiful and exotic birds that can be found at the park. If you are not into birding, no problem! You are welcome to come meet new friends and enjoy nature on a morning walk.
Where: Queen Sirikit Park (near MRT Chatuchak Park and BTS Mo Chit). You can reach the park by MRT, BTS, or taxi. The park is just across from MIXT Chatuchak mall on Kamphaeng Phet Road near Chatuchak Park. Meet at the small coffee shop just inside the park gates.

What to bring: Please bring shoes that you can walk in (about 5km), sunblock, a hat, sunglasses, and binoculars if you have them.
Please note that we are only amateur birders. While we will do our very best to spot and identify as many different types of birds as we can, we cannot guarantee what we will see. However, if we are extremely lucky, we might be able to find owls, kingfishers, and more! The fun thing about birding is that we see something different every time we go out!

Bang Krachao: Birdwatching Walk in Bangkok's "Green Lung"
Bang Na, Bang na, Bangkok, THOften called the “Green Lung of Bangkok,” Bang Krachao is a protected green area formed by a bend in the Chaophraya River. With its elevated walkways, quiet canals, and pockets of preserved greenery, it’s one of the best places in the city to spot wildlife, especially birds that are rarely seen elsewhere in the city.
Join us for a relaxed birdwatching walk as we explore this peaceful urban jungle together. We’ll keep an eye out for a variety of tropical birds; you never know what we might spot along the way!
Come enjoy fresh air, good company, and a different side of Bangkok. We will start the morning with coffee and will finish up with an optional lunch before heading back across the river to Bangkok.
Where: Bang Krachao, the "Green Lung of Bangkok". We will be meeting at the pier at Wat Bang Na Nok (5-minute taxi ride from Bearing Station) and taking the ferry together across to Bang Krachao.
