Walking, Talking, and Exploring the Back Streets of Thonburi

Join the Bangkok Explorer’s Club for an urban adventure on foot as we explore the lesser-known hidden gems of Thonburi's vibrant and storied neighborhoods.

While Wat Arun dominates as the most prominent Thonburi landmark, there's so much else to see and discover in Siam's short-lived capital. We will walk through small local neighborhoods and past royal temples, haunted shrines, and little-known historical Portuguese and Persian communities.

☕ As usual, we will have a coffee stop along the way (and, if we are lucky, will have the chance to try a famous local snack).

All are welcome!
Be prepared to walk 5-6 km. We will start and end near an MRT station, making it easy for you to get back home after the walk.

Please bring 100 baht. This helps pay for hosting the group on the Meetup website and other group expenses along the way.
