Bangkok Island X The Hop are teaming up for a special Loy Krathong cruise on the Chao Phraya 🌊 sailing under one of the largest and brightest moons of the year — a super full moon above the water 🌕
Loy Krathong is the night when Thailand thanks the river — not only as a physical stream, but as spirit, memory and destiny ✨
It is believed that people who float their krathong together will meet again in the next life ❤️ — which is why Loy Krathong is often called Thailand’s soft version of Valentine’s Day 💞
On this night we ask everyone to be gentle with the river 🌿 use minimal and non-toxic krathong materials, because the Chao Phraya we celebrate… is a living being 🌊
The lower deck of the boat will be taken over by The Hop 🎷 Bangkok’s legendary Swing dance community — bringing Swing / Hot Jazz / Lindy & classic dancefloor culture 🕺💃
On the top deck we present Sound of Future Siam — artists pushing Thai rhythm into the future 🚀 together with Selecta Rainny 🌍 playing world music and global grooves

ลอยกระทงคือคืนที่ประเทศไทยขอบคุณสายน้ำ — ไม่ใช่แค่สายน้ำจริงๆ แต่คือจิตวิญญาณ ความทรงจำ และโชคชะตา ✨ เชื่อกันว่าคนที่ลอยกระทงคู่กัน จะได้พบกันอีกในชาติหน้า 💞 — ทำให้ค่ำคืนนี้ถูกมองว่าเป็น “วาเลนไทน์แบบอ่อนโยนของไทย”
ในคืนนี้เราขอให้ทุกคนใช้กระทงที่ทำจากวัสดุน้อยที่สุด 🌿 ไม่เป็นพิษ ไม่ทำร้ายแม่น้ำ — เพราะเจ้าพระยาที่เราฉลองคืนนี้…คือสิ่งมีชีวิต 🌊
ชั้นล่างของเรือจะถูก Takeover โดย The Hop 🎷 คอมมิวนิตี้ Swing ระดับตำนานของกรุงเทพฯ ที่จะนำ Swing / Hot Jazz / Lindy และวัฒนธรรมแดนซ์ฟลอร์แบบคลาสสิก 🕺💃
