What we’re about
Looking for a running club in Bangkok that’s more about fun and camaraderie than just pounding the pavement? The Hash House Harriers offer a unique blend of exercise and socializing, often accompanied by a refreshing beverage or two.
Originating in 1938 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Hash House Harriers have grown into a global phenomenon, humorously described as a “drinking club with a running problem.” In Bangkok, multiple Hash groups organize runs throughout the week, both within the city and in its scenic outskirts.
Each run is an adventure, with “hares” laying a trail for participants to follow, leading to various terrains and unexpected discoveries. After the run, members gather for the “Circle”—a lighthearted ritual featuring songs, camaraderie, and playful antics.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a novel way to meet people and stay active, Bangkok’s Hashing community welcomes all. With runs scheduled most evenings, there’s ample opportunity to join in the fun.
