What we’re about
https://www.facebook.com/BangkokHiking/
This is a group for anyone interested in hiking in Thailand. All skill levels are welcome, but you should be physically active and able to do intermediate to moderately strenuous hikes. I started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. I would like to plan day trips/overnight trips from Bangkok on the weekends (especially holiday weekends) to explore the beautiful natural areas of Thailand. Anyone with experience or knowledge of Thailand's nature areas and an interest in the outdoors is encouraged to join!

Optional
- Let's help the starving dogs at Lopburi's Khao Wong Prachan Temple!!
- We noticed that the temple dogs and their puppies looked very hungry the last time we were there. Ordinarily, tourists would feed them treats and food, but with the rainy season upon us, less people are trekking down the trail to give these dogs a hand.
- In this trip, we will prepare dog food in the package of 500g to the temple's stray dog. We're going to need your assistance to carry the package up while enjoy the beautiful hike and the view of one of the Biggest Buddha image.
- You can put a bag of dry food in your backpack, hike to the top and donate it to the temple there. Cost of dog food is included in the trip price.
