Krok I-Dok Waterfall (Challenge – Difficult Day hike)

Krok I-Dok is part of Khao Yai, a popular trekking destination close to Bangkok. Krok I-Dok waterfall is located roughly 350 meters above sea level, in the heart of a tropical forest. The top waterfall is about 30 meters tall. The walking distance from the starting point is 4 km (round trip = 8), which takes approximately 3-4 hours.

The first two km of the walk are easy warm-ups, and we will be able to stop at waterfall stations. The last 2 km are 80% ascending, with an elevation gain of about 350 meters.

Itinerary
*There are no plans to deviate from the plan unless there is an unforeseen situation
7.30: Van leaves from the pickup location (Around 2 hours drive with 10 minutes gas station break)
09.45: Arrive at the registration area. We prepare for the hike by packing our lunch box, water, and snacks.

10.00: We're following the group, with the rangers at the front and back. After we pass the beginning point, there will be no internet access. This hike is rated from Challenging to Difficult. The trail through the tropical forest and uphill rocky trail, passing the water stream, which may be slippery during the rain.

15.00-16.00: Expected to return to the van. Get some refreshment and change into dry clothes.

16.30: Return to Bangkok
19.30: Arrive back to our pickup spot, the end of the trip.
