For this car pooling trip to a Samut Sakhon coastal province outside Bangkok city (1 to 1.5 hours drive), matcha sipping & clay making is our theme besides social networking and language exchange. And we go cycling or strolling at nearby seaside pier with seagulls !
Our vehicle is already partially filled and we're looking for few more friends to car-pool. (At the moment, either Sat or Sun is flexible for this trip.)
Brief schedule:
8am: We will depart in an air-conditioned van, 1 or 2 sedan cars from pickup point near Asoke, Nana or Phloen Chit BTS (depending on number of persons).
9am: We reach a rustic cafe in for matcha and desserts. (Vegan options available.)
10:30am: Leave for riverside cafe for clay making
Between 11am-12.30pm: Clay making - make & bake what you like ! You can bring home too ! (Either send by delivery to Bangkok or we can carry back for you for next trip - Please allow couple of days for the firing and drying process.)
Lunch will be at the same cafe.
The rest of the afternoon is free and easy - to beat the crowds - suggest to explore various cafes nestled in nature nearby.
3.30pm: We will head back to Bangkok in the evening and expect to reach Bangkok around 5pm.
(The itinerary may be subject to change depending on weather and traffic conditions.)
Please kindly read before RSVP:
1. Admission fee: 500 Baht.
It covers the cost of car and driver rental, transportation round trip from Bangkok, fuel, toll, admin (meetup) expenses etc.
Not include:
- Lunch or meals at Thai restaurants or cafes
- Insurance
- Personal expenses
2. Please don't be late, we provide 5 min grace period to be fair to others ;) ! Please also bring cap, sunblock etc.
3. Please RSVP & pay within 24 hours to reserve your seats (How to pay: Message the organiser here - please check your message box as Meetup does not send notifications. After payment, please send the confirmation slip.) If payment is not made, we'll move you to the waitlist or ‘not going’ list so as not to take up the limited seats.
- No refund: If you cancel 1 day before the event, we can only refund you when we find a new participant for the replacement.
