Surrounded by mountains and lush forests, Wang Bon Reservoir is one of the hidden gems of Nakhon Nayok. With calm waters, beautiful scenery and fresh air, it is the perfect place to slow down and reconnect with nature.

For this car pooling trip to Nakhon Nayok (about 2 hours drive from Bangkok), our vehicle is already partly filled with friends and looking for more positive vibes friends. First comes arm day as we kayak on the serene waters of Wang Bon Reservoir. One of our friends will be bringing a pet dog, and don't be surprised if you see furry captains proudly standing on kayaks – many visitors bring their dogs too! Afterwards, we'll reward ourselves with good food, coffee and visit a capybara cafe where you can feed capybaras roaming in a Japanese onsen habitat ;)

Date: Sunday, 28 June. If on the way, we can also arrange an additional pick-up point near or north of Don Mueang Airport (DMK) for fellow northerners. 😊

Schedule:
7am: We will depart in an air-conditioned luxury van or sedan car from pickup points near Asok, Ploenchit or Nana BTS (depending on number of persons).
9am: Arrive at Wang Bon Reservoir and enjoy kayaking amidst beautiful mountain scenery. You may kayak for around one to one-and-a-half hours at your own pace.
11am: Leave for lunch.
11.30am - 12.45pm: Enjoy lunch at a local eatery/cafe in a peaceful setting.
1pm onwards: Depending on the group's preference, weather and timing, we may visit a few cafes, one of which is a capybara cafe !
There are plenty of picturesque cafés around Nakhon Nayok with good views, and we will probably choose one or two interesting places to unwind.
At around 4pm or later, we will head back to Bangkok and expect to reach by 6pm or later.
(The itinerary or sequence may be subject to change depending on weather, traffic conditions and the group's preference.)
As always, come with an open mind, positive energy and a sense of adventure!
