Join us for a community meeting to launch Apartheid-Free Zones (AFZ) in Thailand. If you’ve been looking for a practical way to support the BDS movement, this is it.
What are we talking about?
🇵🇸BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions): A global Palestinian-led movement that aims to end Israel's occupation, apartheid, and settler-colonialism through non-violent pressure on corporations, institutions, and governments.
⛓️‍💥AFZ (Apartheid-Free Zones): These are local spaces (cafes, shops, community centers, or organizations) that pledge to be "complicit-free." It means committing to boycotting products and companies that profit from the Israeli occupation of Palestine and ensuring our local spaces reflect our values.
The Agenda:
📝Intro to AFZ: A brief presentation on the Apartheid-Free Zone campaign and how it works.
👥Breakout Groups: You’ll join a breakout group to brainstorm how to approach local communities and/or businesses.
⏭️Next Steps: A collective discussion to map out our timeline and immediate goals.

• 🇵🇸 BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions): ขบวนการระดับโลกที่นำโดยชาวปาเลสไตน์ เพื่อหยุดการยึดครองพื้นที่และการแบ่งแยกเชื้อชาติ โดยใช้พลังของพวกเรากดดันบริษัทหรือองค์กรที่สนับสนุนเรื่องนี้ด้วยวิธีสันติ
• ⛓️‍💥 AFZ (Apartheid-Free Zones): คือการผลักดันให้ร้านค้า คาเฟ่ หรือพื้นที่ในชุมชนของเราประกาศตัวเป็นพื้นที่ "ไม่สนับสนุนการกดขี่" โดยสัญญาว่าจะเลิกใช้สินค้าและบริการจากบริษัทที่หากินบนการยึดครองปาเลสไตน์ เพื่อให้พื้นที่ที่เราใช้ชีวิตทุกวันสอดคล้องกับจุดยืนที่ถูกต้องของเรา

• 👥 ระดมสมองกลุ่มย่อย: ร่วมพูดคุยไอเดียว่าจะเริ่มเข้าหาชุมชนหรือร้านค้าในท้องถิ่นของเราได้อย่างไร
• ⏭️ ก้าวต่อไป: วางแผนร่วมกันถึงเป้าหมายและสิ่งที่เราจะลงมือทำทันที
