Rooftop language exchange 【Final Episode】

Details

Well, language exchange has always been the place where you learn inspiring stories of people from all different cultures. But do you know it’s also a place where you might meet your soul-mate? Well, that’s a heartwarming love story I’ll let my friend Rucky… tell you herself. This is also one of the reasons why I wanted to organise this - No, not turning this into a dating event - but because she is moving to Spain with her husband before the end of the summer, and she needed some practice for her espanol!

I remember the very last language exchange I attended was in 2020, right before the pandemic kicked-off when I was passing by BKK. It was a superb event where I got to meet so many awesome people, and a Thai Polyglot who is fluent in 8 languages! I remember how I always get inspired by people’s curiosity to learn whenever I attended the language exchange, and I aim to build a community around this positivity and inspiration for us curious souls.

Now, as we heading into the Endemic phase, I’d like to invite you to this brand-new Rooftop Language Exchange. We’ll practice new languages, exchange cultures and talk about anything and everything interesting on the breezy 40th floor. We’ve just had our first event - a success! We had 11 people from all over the world and everyone learned a bit of Thai!

There will be games, activities and foods (canapés & soft drinks & fruits & ice cream).
Currently we are limiting to 10 people - So we get a chance to know each other a bit more.
First come first serve.

Who am I?
My name is Sarah. I speak Chinese and English & Thai (nit no i). I worked as a flight attendant for British Airways and have travelled to many parts of the world. I love making friends, learning new cultures and enjoy a good laugh! (Please prepare jokes)

You interested? Well, send me a PM for more details.

Hope to hear from you soon :)

( Fee: ฿400 cash preferred
The event money goes to the food, the preparation and cleaning.
I don’t make a living on this but it is an incentive & motivation for keeping it going on a weekly basis)

Love,
Sarah
