Get your short film financed.
I’m Steven, a Hollywood filmmaker now living in Bangkok, and I’m co-organizing this group with a talented Dutch filmmaker named Kars. We’re building a community of filmmakers who want to create and collaborate on 10–20 minute short films right here in Bangkok.
Members can submit scripts or concepts for consideration. If I decide to finance a project, I will choose which film we make. If the group is self-financing, then we all decide together. When a project is selected, the writer can direct it, and the rest of the group can join as crew based on their skills and interests.
This group is for writers, directors, cinematographers, editors, actors, and anyone excited about hands-on filmmaking. When you join, please introduce yourself and share your experience or what you’d like to contribute.

Creative Kickoff: Let’s Build Our First Short Film Together

This is an opportunity to meet fellow filmmakers, writers, actors, and creatives, share ideas, and talk about how we’ll collaborate as a team going forward. Whether you’re experienced or totally new, you’re welcome. The goal is simple: build a community and begin the journey toward making our first short film together.
