What we’re about

A COMMUNITY OF STORY LOVERS
Love a good story? So do we! We're trying to build a vibrant community of storytellers and story-listeners in Bangkok, inspired by The Moth, the renowned U.S.-based nonprofit that celebrates the art of true, personal storytelling. Check out some of their stories here!

Our goal? To create a space where people can connect, share, and listen to real-life stories—whether hilarious, heartwarming, or profound. Don't like being the center of attention? That's fine too! Our storytellers need kinda, responsive and encouraging audience members to help them grow their storytelling skills!

WHAT TO EXPECT
We'll kick things off with casual, interactive events to bring storytellers (and story lovers) together:
🔹 Meet & Mingle – Plenty of time before and after performances to make friends & build community
🔹 Storytelling Games – Casual storytelling opportunities for non-performers
🔹 StorySlams & Workshops – Test out new stories and refine them with feedback.

THE BIG GOAL: MONTHLY STORYSLAMS
Once we grow our community, we’ll host StorySLAMs—live, open-mic storytelling competitions inspired by The Moth. Anyone can take the stage and share a true, personal, 5-minute story based on the night’s theme. No notes allowed—it’s all about telling, not reading!
How it works:
âś… Up to 10 volunteer storytellers are chosen at random.
âś… Each story is judged by audience volunteers on a scale of 1 to 10.
âś… Highest score wins the night!

Whether you're a seasoned storyteller or just love to listen, come join us! Let’s build a community where meaningful stories create lasting connections.
