Join us for a cozy night of live storytelling and listening, inspired by The Moth, the U.S. nonprofit fostering human connection through storytelling.

Like them, our mission is to connect authentically and build a community centered on shared human experience. Our community is quite diverse in age, gender, sexuality, culture & background - we'd love to have you!

How the night works:

🎲 Part One: Storytelling Games (7:30–8:30PM) Casual, on-the-spot prompts. Low stakes, high fun - no preparation needed.
🎤 Part Two: Prepared Performances (8:30–9:30PM) Up to 10 performances by members who have prepared a story in advance on this month's theme (see below).

All stories (both casual and prepared) follow The Moth's style:
🔹 True, personal and told in the first person
🔹 No longer than 5 minutes long
🔹 Told from memory (no reading)
🔹 Rooted in emotion, vulnerability & self-growth

This month's theme: SUS
Prepare a five-minute story about deception or sus(picion). Counterfeit handbags, messages from unknown phone numbers, or skeletons in the closet. Raising an eyebrow or calling someone out. Acting shady or being played a fool. Was your gut feeling right or wrong? A deal too good to be true. I smell a rat!
