Choreography for the Orixas dance course

This 4 week course – aimed at dancers with experience of Maracatu and professional dancers – will teach the steps and their meaning for each of the Orixas for the song Cobalarue: Exú, Oxum, Oxóssi, Nanã, Ogum, Yemanjá, Xangô, Iansã, Oxalá.

Brought to you by Gladys Cavalcante, the course includes participation in a collaborative project with Nação do Maracatu Porto Rico, and the opportunity to perform at Baque de Axé End of Year Party in December.

Cost
The x4 2 hour class course costs £50 in total and includes a free invitation to the Baque de Axé end of year party to perform.

Language
The course will be held in English with Portuguese translation available on request.
