Bars and Bands in the Burbs

Looking for a laid-back and fun way to meet new people and enjoy local dive bars and live bands? Whether you're into eating, drinking, playing games, listening to music, or just building new relationships, we've got you covered.
I have found dive bars to have more character and to be more warm and inviting than commercialized bars. Come out and support these mom and pop businesses while having a fun, laid back, time shooting a game of pool, throwing some darts, watching a local band, enjoying an open jam night, or just relaxing and enjoying each other's company.

I can do nothing about the age range. Meetup.com lists this on groups and is not a restriction.

Every event may not be for everyone which is understandable. We can not please everyone.

Side note: This group is not a dating site. If you start dating someone in the group, that is your business and no one else’s.

There will be no unwanted touching, harassing, stalking or any other creepiness of that nature. Any reports of this poor behavior will get you banned from the group.

Also be aware of scams and bots. There have been reports of people contacting members trying to give away MacBooks, etc. This is a meetup.com thing. Do not accept anything or communicate with these scammers. Please notify either Kristin or I, and we will ban these as they come in. Unfortunately, I have not come up with a solution to prevent this and still allow the public to join as they want so we will just keep on top of it.
