Session 3 of Memoir Mapping begins with one small, pictureable memory you choose — something sparked by a prompt, a past session, or whatever rises naturally. We start with a single clear sentence and use seven guided techniques to open it into something fuller and more textured.

We’re not editing or critiquing — we’re just exploring what shows up when you look at your memory from a few different angles. We’ll move through seven steps I developed for this series, such as The First Flicker and The First Little After‑Thing, each one offering a different way to see what your starting sentence is holding.

Whether you’ve come to earlier sessions or this is your first one, the steps make it easy to jump in.
