🥾 BCN English Speakers – Sunday Hike to Turó de Santa Maria 🌿

This week we’ll hike through Collserola towards Turó de Santa Maria, a scenic and relaxing route surrounded by fresh air and good company. 🌳

We are Barcelona English Speakers, a friendly community of 2,000+ people brought together by a shared language. Alongside our social meetups, we also love getting outdoors — exploring, connecting, and enjoying nature together.

📅 Date: Sunday, 2 November 2025
🕚 Meeting time: 11:00 AM (we start the trail at 11:30)
⏳ Duration: ~3.5 hours
💪 Difficulty: Easy to moderate
🚶‍♂️ Pace: Easy-going
🧭 Trail: Turó de Santa María → Turó de Valldaura → Sant Medir
📏 Length: 8.4 km | Elevation gain: 460 m

🧺 What to bring

• Comfortable hiking shoes
• Backpack, water (at least 2L), and snacks or sandwiches 🥪
• Layered clothes, sunglasses, and a rain jacket (just in case!)
• And most importantly — your good vibes 😊

🌿 Hiking Guidelines

• Be kind and respectful to fellow hikers and nature 🌱
• Keep the pace friendly — this is about connection, not competition!
• Prepare for changing weather — we hike rain or shine ☀️🌧️
• If you bring your dog, please use a leash and make sure the route suits them 🐾

The event is free and open to the first 10 RSVPs. A waiting list will open if we fill up, but spots aren’t guaranteed.
