We are very excited to invite you all to the best science party of the year....the Barcelona Fun Science Christmas Party, which this year is going to be all about Cheese!

Join us on Monday, 12th December for an exclusive session hosted by Rachel from Barcelona Fun Science and the excellent gang at Republique du Fromage. We'll be learning all about the history and science behind how cheese is made, accompanied by a meal and guided 7-cheese tasting with Marc, who will be telling us all about the different types of cheeses - how they are made, and what makes them look, feel and taste so different.

Rachel and Tim checked it out last night, and it's pretty damn special...
As always, we'll also be getting to grips with the key ideas by doing it ourselves! We will be exploring the basic principles by making our own ricotta cheese together which you'll be able to take home.
Add in an awesome bunch of fun, curious people, a Christmas prize draw and a few other surprise activities, and it's going to be a night to remember - don't miss out!
Ticket Price is 25EUR per person, which includes the meal, activities and 1 drink (beer/wine).
You will be able to buy more drinks on the night if you like. Tickets will be available until 12.30PM (lunchtime) on Sunday, 11th December - you won't be able to buy on the door, so get 'em while you can!

Who are we? We're a friendly bunch of adults who are curious about the weird and wonderful science of the things we see every day. In every session we set a theme, and then explore a couple of different hands-on activities and games together to learn about what?, how? and why? things work the way that they do.
We come from all different educational and professional backgrounds, and you don't need any previous science experience to come along, play, and meet new people.
You also don't need to have come to any previous events to join us for the Christmas party.

I'm a board-game loving science geek (and freelance project manager in healthcare communications) from London. I started Barcelona Fun Science to create new ways for curious non-scientific adults to explore scientific ideas, and to feel confident asking questions about how the world around them works in an informal, social and fun environment.
