Welcome to BIG´s ever-popular drop-in Sunday workshops!

This fun, low-pressure afternoon of games and play is suitable for anyone, from acting hot shots to total newbies. All levels and language abilities are catered for, and the focus is on having fun and giving it a go. Every drop in workshop has a different theme and a different instructor with an emphasis on giving it a go, and getting plenty of chances to play. Every Thursday, the workshop instructor will post a note in this event (and in the BIG Improv School Facebook Group) with the week's workshop theme!

- To respect everyone’s time, we ask everyone to arrive between 4:45pm and 4:55pm so that the class may start on time. The doors will be locked at 5:00pm sharp so that the teachers can begin the class. At 5.15pm the doors will open once more, for anyone who has arrived late. Arrival after 5:15pm means you will have to miss the workshop.
- Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another date once you have booked. You may, however, transfer your booking to a friend or another improviser who can attend in your place!

In our day to day lives we have to manage the difference between what we want to happen and what is realistic. We are constantly making sure these vertical and horizontal needs are being met but these relationships are complex, often long lasting and difficult to manage. This workshop focuses on how to manage your clients, your team as well as yourself.28/5 Modulate
When we are nervous or excited it is easy for our voice to settle into a comfortable place and stay there. This can result in your listeners tuning out or missing what is most important. By learning how to modulate your voice and use your gestures and body language to your advantage you will capture the attention of your audience, altering the way in which you speak in public dramatically.4/6 PowerUp!
Let's put it all together, taking up all the space we can. This workshop will be a bootcamp on everything that we have worked on. Tell stories, put yourself in stressful situations, mix problem solving with small talk and end fully connected to ourselves and to our partners.
