Departure from Barcelona at 9:00 AM.
Return by 10:00 PM.
Transfer, equipment (crampons, ice axe, helmet, harness, rope), and overnight stay in a high-mountain refuge at 2,140 m are included.
Difficulty level: above average! Occasional ⚡️ bursts of character may occur 🫣😬😸
Plan:
- Saturday — Via Ferrata (K4) (optional — you can also enjoy a scenic walk through the valley).
Arrival at the foot of Aneto, an easy hike 🥾 to the mountain refuge, and check-in.
Dinner and breakfast can be purchased on-site or brought with you — up to you!
- Sunday — The highest peak in the Pyrenees, Aneto (3,400 m) 🏔️
Early wake-up, start of the route at sunrise around 7–8 AM.
Up to 18 km total distance with 1,500 m elevation gain and descent.
The glacier is melting 🫠 more and more each year, and soon it may almost disappear — come experience its beauty and power while you still can!
This week there’s no snow expected, but mountain weather can change quickly. We’ll be monitoring conditions!
Alternative routes 🗺️ are available in case of bad weather.
