The RPG Event IX: The Succession Game (The King is Dead)

THE RPG EVENT

We are pleased to announce the ninth RPG event of the Barcelona Roleplaying Community, where we'll have 10 tables with totally different and unique games. Everyone is welcome to join, from experts to first-time players; no experience is needed or knowledge about the system.
We will play in ENGLISH.
The cost of participation is 8 EURO, which you will pay at the entrance.

THE ADVENTURE: The Succession Game

SYSTEM: The King is Dead
DESCRIPTION: For years King Morgan of House Dillestone has been ill, and his power over the country of Banteave has been waning and weakening. As we will sit at the table, the news will arrive: the king has finally died. Who will be next on the throne? We each will take on the role of the Champion of one of the five Houses of Banteave, and we'll confront each other in court and on the field, weave alliances, prepare betreyals -- in the end, only one will prevail and rule Banteave as rightful ruler. The king is dead, long live the king. "The King is Dead" is a simple RPG that needs no previous knowledge or experience.

The aim of the game is to tell together the tale of the Succession of Banteave: think Game of Thrones, if it lasted one evening instead of 7 humongous books or 8 tv-show seasons.
At the table an X card will be available to keep every player at ease and prevent touching sensible topics.
The mechanics are very intuitive and will be explained at the table.

PLACE: We will play at the ARCHIVO ARCANO. Please, wait next to the entrance where you will be welcomed and guided by one of the organizers.
DRINKS & FOOD: You can purchase drinks at the place, but you are NOT ALLOWED to bring them from outside. You CAN bring your own food. You even should do that ;). If you don't do that there will be an option to buy some snacks at the place or get a sandwich in the restaurant nearby.

IF YOU HAVEN'T JOINED THE GAME IN TIME
At the moment, there is no waiting list. If a player drops out, we will reopen the event and announce it on Discord (and possibly on Meetup).
Players who arrive more than 15 minutes late will automatically forfeit their spot, which will then be offered to people waiting at the venue.
If you decide to show up without a reserved place, you may still be able to join a table if a spot becomes available.
