The 10th RPG Event: Under the deep sea (Mothership)

THE RPG EVENT

We are pleased to announce the tenth RPG event of the Barcelona Roleplaying Community, where we'll have 10 tables with totally different and unique games. Everyone is welcome to join, from experts to first-time players; no experience is needed or knowledge about the system.
We will play in ENGLISH.
The cost of participation is 10 EURO, which you will pay at the entrance.

THE ADVENTURE: Under the deep sea

DESCRIPTION:
You have been contracted by Moroi Technology Labs to staff their deep ocean research facility. As we sit at the table, we'll discover that it's not a normal day: something has gone wrong. You'll have to choose whether you want to survive, save the day, or solve the mystery - not everything is available to you.

Mothership is a Sci-Fi horror RPG created by Sean McCoy. It belongs to the OSR wave (Old School Revival), meaning that it approaches roleplaying from a rule-light, down-to-earth POV: characters are not heroes, but normal people trying to get by in a weird and hostile world. You, player, are called to think and roleplay a lot, and roll little.

- There will be premade characters at the table but you'll have a chance to personalize them.
- To play, a %die (or 2d10s) and a d20 are used. I will bring enough for everyone but if you want to bring your own, that's what you'll need
- This is a pre-made module, that by default contains the following triggers: thalassophobia, cleithrophobia, gore, violence towards animals. We'll decide to tune them down (or up) all together.
- At the table we'll take precautions (lines&veils, X-card) to make sure we're all playing safely and within our comfort zone: horror is cool but only if it's not too real.

PLACE: We will play at the ARCHIVO ARCANO. Please, wait next to the entrance where you will be welcomed and guided by one of the organizers.
DRINKS & FOOD: You can purchase drinks at the place, but you are NOT ALLOWED to bring them from outside. You CAN bring your own food. You even should do that ;). If you don't do that there will be an option to buy some snacks at the place or get a sandwich in the restaurant nearby.

IF YOU HAVEN'T JOINED THE GAME IN TIME
At the moment, there is no waiting list. If a player drops out, we will reopen the event and announce it on Discord (and possibly on Meetup).
Players who arrive more than 15 minutes late will automatically forfeit their spot, which will then be offered to people waiting at the venue.
If you decide to show up without a reserved place, you may still be able to join a table if a spot becomes available.
