FROM TACTICAL AGILE TO STRATEGIC AGILE - Reset what business agility means to deliver real business results
Agile was born to empower teams to deliver greater business value in complex projects. But as it became mainstream, it has often been limited to technology teams, turned into feature factories, without autonomy or clear alignment with business strategy.
This has undermined its credibility. It’s time to rethink the concept of agility.
Strategic Agility is an approach to overcome this.
It starts with aligning teams to the company’s strategy using OKRs and goal-driven roadmaps, focusing on outcome indicators for the customer and business impact, applying user experience techniques or flexibly combining product discovery and delivery. All of this driven by an empowered and cross-skilled team.
In this session, we’ll see Strategic Agility in action—and how it solves many of the limitations of agility when confined to product delivery.
